Sadly, Wok Kee is no more. [Insert sounds of wailing, crying and gnashing of teeth]It has been replaced by Beijing Bistro. So far, not for the better. But that story is told in a different place... Let's hope the new managers work out the problems quickly...

Service here is slow, the food is decent, but lacking flavor. I'd like to see them improve, but I don't think It's gonna happen, considering the location they're in. I'd save it and just go to Dublin for better Chinese food.

Impressed. Cannot believe I lived in Pleasanton for years and never knew about this spot. Fast delivery service. Good authentic food. Nice people. I ordered the Chinese chicken with snow peas and braised tofu. Excellent. Made the real Chinese way. Would do it again!

My dad saw an ad in the newspaper for this restaurant. It stated it was close to the Paragon Livermore Outlet and that's why we decided to come here. This restaurant has only been opened for a little over a year. We arrived here before happy hour which is at 2pm, but they still gave us the happy hour menu.Thai tea, milk tea, and lemon tea were $1.50 (originally $2.50). I ordered a Thai tea. It is definitely different than the Thai tea I've had here in Sacramento. It has a bitter taste and not as sweet as I'm used too, but it wasn't bad.We also ordered:Green beans w/ beef: I don't like my green beans crunchy, but this dish was crunchy, but soft enough for my liking. I really liked this dish.Coffee Ribs: It comes with 4 pieces. This appetizer is different, first time I've ever seen it on a menu. It's too messy to eat. The coffee taste isn't strong. There's a bitter and sweet taste.Pepper & Salty Pork: A lot of pieces. Tastes like every other restaurant. I liked it.Sesame Chicken: This was really good when it came out hot. Not sweet enough for me, in fact I don't think it was sweet at all.Xo Chow Fun: This was ok, wasn't anything special.

I work right in the Business Park across the street, and this place is awesome. Very friendly staff, great lunch specials, Classic Chinese cuisine, I like the Kung Pao chicken, and Mongolian Beef and the Hot & Sour soup in particular, but other menu items are really good as well. If you work near Bernal, this is a great place for Lunch.

If you want Hong Kong style food in the tri-valley: Wok kee is it!Food:While I've had better baked pork chop rice, their cat fish clay pot, egg and beef chow fun (wide noodles) is really tasty! Simmered with tofu and thickened with gravy like sauce, the slightly fried cat fish is the perfect amount of crunchy and silky soft in the interior. The beef chow fun is one of the smoothest I have ever tasted!Environment:Nicer compared to most HK style places. There are a couple of LCD's about. Clean, modern decor with a romantic atmosphere. Booth seating and tables available.
